It’s killing twice as many people as obesity…
And we’re doing “nothing” about it.
According to research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, “A lack of exercise could be killing twice as many people as obesity…” This research went on to say that “The greatest risk [of an early death] was in those [classified as] inactive…” And this was regardless of one being normal weight, overweight, or obese.
We shouldn’t be dying from inactivity, Saints. This is something we can control!
In fact, we should be even more driven to remain active for our health,
because we live for a higher purpose!
If an athlete will get out of bed and go running for a gold medal,
we can certainly get out of bed
and go walking, or running, or to Gospel Zumba, or to lift weights
for the purpose of fulfilling God’s desire for our lives.
Don’t cut your purpose short by being inactive. Find ways to get you and your family moving. Did you make a resolution in January and fall off? Would you like to get started, but don’t know how? Are you just tired and your battery is on “E”?
